Yamaha Tenor YTS-23 Japan, Legendary Saxophone YTS-23, saxophone made by Yamaha in the 1980s. This unit has Yamaha branding with the word Japan below it which is embossed, and there is no writing "made in Japan" on the back of the body under the serial number. After Yamaha established several saxophone factories such as in China and Indonesia, they removed the writing "Japan" on the front body, and added "made in ..." on the back of the saxophone body to find out the locality of manufacture of each unit. This unit is in very good condition considering its age, but its physical condition is still good and neat. The original leather pad is in good condition, no leaks, still thick and has upgraded the bronze resonator so that the gain and resonance are even higher.
