The legendary Yas-23 saxophone, a saxophone made by Yamaha in the 1980s. This unit has Yamaha branding with the words Japan embossed underneath, and there is no "made in Japan" writing on the back of the body below the serial number. After Yamaha established several saxophone manufacturers, such as in China and Indonesia, they removed the words "Japan" on the front body, and added "made in..." on the back of the saxophone body to determine the locality of manufacture of each unit. This unit can be said to be in very good condition considering that it is quite old, but its physical appearance is still good and neat.
