Selmer Super Action 80 Series II Jubilee. Jubilee is a special series created by Selmer as a celebration of their 125th anniversary, and of all the Selmer saxophone series, the Super Action SA80 Series II is the only series that is used as the base model for the Jubilee series.
The serial number of this unit is N790142 and the Jubilee series was only made in 2016 so there are only a few stocks in the world, and this unit is one of them. This unit is only a display unit, and you could say that everything is still in new condition.
The elegant fully hand-engraved Gold Lacquer finish is typical of the Jubilee series. The Jubilee offers a more modern and elegant design than the standard SA80 II, with more detailed and luxurious engraving. The improved mechanical response of the keys on the Jubilee provides a faster and more precise response, resulting in a richer and more consistent tone. The shape and configuration of the keys have also been redesigned on the Jubilee, providing better playability, especially for long playing sessions.
The Jubilee generally produces a more open, rich and characterful sound than the standard SA80 II, with better sound projection and higher gain. This unit is also accompanied by completeness such as an original Selmer SA80 Series II neck with Jubilee characteristics with a different "S" logo on the neck. The accessories you get are all complete and original, such as the Selmer SA80 C*Ligature with original Selmer stamp, original Selmer neck strap, Thomann Jubilee Series hardcase, grease, microfiber swab, and manual book, all original Jubilee Series.
