The Yanagisawa S-991 is part of the Elite Pro Series, a step up from the S-901. The S-991 features a double-neck design, a more rigid body construction, and a High G key configuration. The S99x generation is considered a collector's item due to its limited distribution and the fact that it has been discontinued and replaced by the SWOx0 series. The difference between the "1" and "2" model numbers (S991 vs. S992) lies in the material: the S991 is made of brass, while the S992 is made of bronze.
